Best mate late? Learn Spanish! … or instead read this description about how we had a lot of fun animating Duo for Duolingo’s digital out of home campaign in London with our friends at And Rising.

We didn’t want any movement of Duo’s feathers with these little animations so all the emotion needed to be just in the eyes - looooook into my eyes…... He’s a cute little bird and we hope he enjoys his little trip underground to remind people to keep learning their languages.

Duolingo’s DOOH campaign can be seen on the underground all round london this autumn (2019) on escalator panels and Digital 6 Sheets.

The animations were created and rendered in After Effects.
